One of my 2013 resolutions is to get more creative with my blog posts. I want to show all of you a bit more of my personal designer side and how I love to combine it with a canine twist. Take this post for example. Every couple of weeks I want to create a canine color palette featuring all of my favorite dog products with a similar hue. This week’s Canine Color Palette: Winter Green. Enjoy!

Lots of dogs have been known to get into trouble around the holiday season. Some will eat Christmas dinner right off the countertop, or get into the trash during a holiday party, or even worse, some will break into the presents! My dogs’ holiday crime of choice is ornament thievery. Every year they stealthily sneak up to the Christmas tree and snatch little ornaments. I rarely catch them in the act, but I always find the casualties.
These Milk Bone ornaments from Uncommon Goods reminded me of their favorite mischievous holiday ritual. Did you know they are made from actual Milk Bones preserved in copper and then dipped in 24k gold and silver? They are super cute and festive, and would look amazing on any dog lover’s tree. Unfortunately, I’m pretty sure these would be the first to go with my dogs. For now, I will have to just admire them from afar 🙂
